NOVEMBER 2024

Dear Friends,

Warm greetings during this Thanksgiving season!

Nancy and I are very thankful and grateful for each one of you standing with us so faithfully in prayer.

“For this reason, since the day we heard about you we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to full you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding” (Colossians 1:9)

TWO WEEKLY BIBLE STUDIES… Nancy and I are involved in two weekly Bible studies—one on Monday evenings (in a home) and the other on Thursday nights (Zoom).

UPDATE ON NANCY… Thank you for praying for Nancy. As you know, she has bronchiectasis, a disease of her lungs. She has been under care for this for 26 years with the last five years under Mayo Hospital/Clinic. Please continue to pray for Nancy.

MOHAWK VALLEY COMMUNITY CHURCH… Nancy and I were invited to participate in this church located in Roll, Arizona. What a joy to preach on Sunday morning, October 27. This is a small church filled with the Lord in every way–warmth, the Word, Christ-centered, mission focused, and full display of the “fruit of the Spirit!” Nancy is pictured with one of our dear friends and faithful partners, Vicky Sharp.

PULPIT SUPPLY… As you know, this last summer I thoroughly enjoyed pulpit supply while in Iowa. I filled pulpits seven Sundays. I am open to more pulpit supply, retreats, missions ministries, etc.

IN LIGHT OF THE ELECTION TIMELY QUOTE…
This was written by a good friend of mine in Tipton, David D.
Inspired by the message from church this morning…Life Church in Wilton.

“Wednesday morning (if not sooner) we will know the results of the election. The candidate(s) that we will vote for will have either won or lost. (Duh, David. lol) Voting is a great responsibility we have in this country and\
I hope you get out and vote for who you feel is/are the best candidate(s).
Voting is our way of having a voice and we get to “choose” who we vote for.

There is another powerful way we can “choose,” it is how we will “choose” to act after the election is over. We can all do better and be better. We do not have to resort to name calling and bashing others.
We do not need to gloat and boast if those who we vote for win.

We can “choose” to be respectful of one another. We can “choose” to be caring to one another. The same thing we teach our children when they are little, how to act and treat others, we often times mess up. Yes, self included. But my friends, we can do better. We can be better examples.

What I believe, no matter what Wednesday morning brings, my God still sits on the throne and is in control (Psalms 22:28). My God still loves everyone with a love that I truly do not understand and His grace for us is absolutely amazing! (Luke 23:34, John 1:16-17, John 3:16-17)

Let’s choose a better way to live because of the Savior,
Jesus and the example He set for those of us who call Him Lord. Colossians 3:12-17.”
A close friend of mine, Jim Brannon, recently gifted me with his previous Apple watch when he updated his! What a surprise and blessing!!
Nancy and I met with Jim three different times so he could
teach me how to use it!
CLIENT UPDATE… As you know, our primary ministry is helping missionaries to secure (and keep) their personal support so they can get to and remain on the mission field. One of the primary reasons for leaving the mission field is an increasing decline in staying in touch with their support teams. We also help mission agencies (and churches) to stay focused (and financed) on their ministries.

KAY UPDATE… As many of you know, Kay Reimer, my executive assistant, went through major surgery on her neck March 13. Kay has made some significant progress, but she still needs to be careful. Please continue to pray for Kay…
